Introduction
The Trade Department has taken a significant step towards promoting industrialization and economic growth through the initiation of the County Aggregation and Industrial Park (CAIP) project at Riwa in Karachuonyo. This ambitious undertaking is being developed in collaboration with the National Government through an Intergovernmental Partnership Agreement, with a total investment of Kshs. 500 million; Our share of Kshs. 250 million for the Project while the National Treasury will contribute its equal share.

The establishment of the CAIP will serve as a catalyst for industrialization and value addition within Homa Bay County.
