The head of the County Public Service has a broad range of responsibilities related to efficient and effective management of county government operations. These include coordinating the activities of county departments, establishing linkages with external stakeholders, interpreting and disseminating government policies, and ensuring the implementation of the County Performance Framework. The head of the County Public Service is also responsible for performance contracting and payroll management, as well as any other duties assigned by the Governor and County Executive Committee.
