Through our partnership with Lwala Community Alliance and
the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), the County has received a package
of state-of-the-art simulation training equipment. The donation includes
assorted training mannequins and other simulation materials that will equip our
clinical skills laboratories and be deployed across sub-counties for hands-on
training.
The equipment enables healthcare providers to simulate and
practice life-saving procedures such as skilled deliveries, Caesarean section
support, and newborn resuscitation in a safe learning environment before
applying these skills in real-life clinical settings.
By strengthening practical competencies through regular
simulation exercises, we are enhancing the capacity of our healthcare
workforce, improving the quality of maternal and newborn care, and advancing
our commitment to reducing preventable maternal and neonatal deaths.
