About
The mandate of the Office of the County Secretary is to coordinate the County Executive Committee’s Affairs and management of the County Public Service for efficient and effective management of County government operations.
It is my responsibility to provide the required leadership in designing suitable plans and strategies that will contribute to high and sustainable socio-economic development. It is my undertaking to ensure that the County has a credible Strategic Plan and a Performance Contract that will deliver the desired goals.
It is also my undertaking that I will perform my responsibilities diligently and to the best of my abilities to support the achievement of the agreed performance targets.

Improve coordination of County Government functions and promote mutual inter/intra-governmental relations

Enhance management and development of staff for optimal productivity and management of citizen expectations through effective, efficient, and sustainable service delivery;

Coordinate government business including the County Executive Committee function
4
Oversee public service recruitment, retention, training and development, motivation, and transitional planning
5
Institutionalize the culture of accountability, transparency and promotion of public service values and principles by strengthening the rule of law.

Establish and coordinate Public Service communication, good governance, leadership and integrity
7
Provide and maintain a conducive working environment for all county staff
