Job Purpose / Job Summary
The Ward administrator shall coordinate, manage and supervise the general administrative functions in the Ward unit. The Ward Administrator shall be reporting to the respective Sub-County Administrator.
Duties and Responsibilities
i) Coordinating, managing and supervising the general administrative functions in the Ward unit;
(i) Developing policies and plans;
(ii) Ensuring effective service delivery;
(iii) Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community;
(iv) Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public service;
(v) Managing the County Public service;
vi) Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services;
vii) Performing any other duties and responsibilities that shall be assigned by the supervisor (s) from time to time
Requirements for Appointment
i) Be a Kenyan citizen
ii) Be a holder of at least a Diploma with five (5) years of experience in supervision or Bachelor’s degree from University recognized in Kenya followed by working experience of not less than three (3) years
iii) Has qualifications and knowledge in administration or management; and
iv) Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
