JOB DESCRIPTION FOR REVENUE CLERK II
- Prompt collection and accounting of all revenue to the County Government within area of jurisdiction;
- Preparation and submission of daily/weekly and monthly revenue collection reports to the Senior Revenue Officer
- Responsible for making sure that all the revenue collected are banked intact and promptly.
- Implementing the established revenue procedures
- Reporting on the level of compliance with revenue laws and regulations;
- Custodian and accountable of all official revenue documents in the locality.
- Any other duties assigned by the Sub County Senior Revenue Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Be a Kenyan Citizen;
- Be a resident of Homa Bay County;
- Have a Diploma certificate in a relevant field;
- Certificate in Computer Applications;
- Relevant working experience in revenue or routine clerical work will be an added advantage;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
