Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) guidelines
Duties and Responsibilities
- Approve the Board’s Strategic Plan and Budget.
- Mobilize potential investment opportunities and
facilitate investment partnerships on behalf of the government.
- Undertake investment promotion activities locally and
internationally.
- Assist in offering investment facilitation services
to both local and foreign investors.
- Assist the Board in ensuring the proper and effective
performance of the corporation.
- Supervise and monitor staff of the Board.
- Ensure the Board complies with laws, codes, and
investment regulations.
- Represent the interest of the County Government of
Homa Bay.
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from
time to time.
- Advising the County Executive Committee on all
matters related to the administration of investment opportunities.
- Carry out such other roles necessary for the
implementation of the objectives and purpose of the Homa Bay County
Investment and Development Corporation Act, 2020.
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan Citizen.
- Have a minimum of a Diploma in industry, Trade,
Business, Investment Social Sciences, and any other relevant courses from
institutions recognized in Kenya.
- Possession of a degree and master’s certificate will
be an added advantage.
- Have knowledge and experience of at least five years
in matters relating to Investments, Entrepreneurship, Development,
Business, and Industry.
- Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the
Constitution of Kenya.
